May Turnip Purée
Ingredients for 4 people
500g potatoes
500g May turnips
100–125ml milk
25g chilled butter
Grated nutmeg

Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into pieces. Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water for approx. 20 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the May turnips, wash and cut into pieces. After 10 minutes add the May turnips and cook together. Drain and allow steam to evaporate.
Warm the milk. Add the butter and hot milk to the potatoes and May turnips and mash. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Delicious with bratwurst and salad. Enjoy your meal!
