Radicchio Treviso pasta with feta, pear and walnuts

2 radicchio Treviso
1 large pear
150 g feta cheese
70 g walnut kernels
300 g pasta (e.g. farfalle or penne)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper

Boil the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Retain a little of the cooking water.

 

Wash the radicchio Treviso, remove the stem and cut the Treviso into strips about 1 cm wide. Peel, core and slice the pear. Roughly chop the walnuts.

 

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the radicchio Treviso, pear and walnuts over a medium heat for 4 minutes. Add the pasta to the other ingredients in the pan, crumble the feta over the top and mix everything together.

 

Season with salt and pepper. If you want it to make it even creamier, stir in some of the pasta water.
